The 1962 Daytona convertible had it all: bucket seats, a console, and, beyond the base six, a choice of four V-8s that topped out with the 4-bbl, dual-exhaust 289 making 225hp. A column-shifted three-speed manual transmission was standard and a three-speed automatic optional, but V-8 buyers could step up to a four-speed manual with a floor shift.
