I'll get yelled at here for saying this, but since 2004 the KX250 isn't nearly the bike the YZ and RM are. The low end power is nonexistant and the hit in the powerband is way too late. You have to have it screeming to get the power out of it, and the gearbox is retarded aswell. The HP is higher in the new kx's but I don't find it as usable.
