Been reading threads about the problems with 2007 Kawasaki ultra 250x's, from bad ecu's/immobilizers, corroded ic, superchargers, cracked heads. Am I crazy to buy one? Should I just stick with Yamaha FX/VX's that are n/a as it seems like these ski's are bulletproof. Not bashing kawi's, just seeing many problems the ultra 250x's. Thanks

It seems like the reeds may be letting oil into the intake (the hoses on top of the cylinder head cover). But I popped them off. Oil looks to be coming out of the one on the left. But I don't know if this is normal or what's going on. It has 40hrs idles and cranks without issue. Should I expect reeds (i think they are called)?

I feel that if this happens again that I would try to return the Ski and have it replaced with a new one. I only put an hour on it. They did reset the ECU and tested it in the water with no problems.
