The failure of the lifter (which rotated 90 degrees) caused the cam lobe to wear out. The repair ended up costing a little over $7000CAD (~5600USD).

#3 · Dec 6, 2017 Looks like a coolant leak. Our Jeeps don't use green coolant like a lot of cars it is gold/clear mix that with any corrosion/rust in the system and you get that brown sludge. Check all your hoses, radiator and water pump. Also our radiators are made with plastic sides that have a tendency for failure I know cause mine failed.

Service campaign on top of service campaign, but it was the best vehicle we've ever owned, in that regard. Had the Trackhawk not come along, we'd still have it.
