Recently I overlayed the 2+0 onto the 2+2. If I lined the doors up and made allowances for slightly different position of the second car to the camera, they did show a small gap behind the B pillar and above the B pillar. The door skins matched on front edge and back and at the door handles.

I understand the 2+2 has a bit longer wheelbase (96.5 vs 101.2) and tips the scales a little under it's TT counterpart (3474 vs 3313). however, that last point may just be because of the lack of turbos, intercoolers, etc. However, are there any other advantages?

I have a 2+2 and a 2-seater. I like the overall balance of the 2+2 lines. I love my yellow 2-seater, but they can sometimes seem a little short in the tail, especially without a spoiler - they need the wing to 'balance' the look of the rear. There is more front overhang than rear, which is less obvious in the 2+2. My two cents. Cheers.
