#1 · Dec 6, 2001 I just learned that the 93-98 Lincoln Mark VIII has a DOHC 32valve 4.6lliter mod motor in it, and so does the 305hp 96-98 Cobra Mustang. Is it the same engine? If so, the Lincoln Mark VIII is quite a bargain. All the buttons, 305hp, all for way under $10k, and cheaper than the Cobra. This car costs over $40k new.

1st thing to do is locate a motor. these motors were available in Lincoln mark viii's from 93-98. the ideal motor to find is either a 97 or 98 to swap into our new edge cars. the reasons are simple, they already have the COP ignition system, the intake manifold inlet is on the passenger side (if you opt to use the Lincoln intake) and supposedly.
