B9 S4 reliability? Been looking to buy a B9 S4, but I'm a little concerned about reliability. I saw some concerns from older models about things like the DSG (S-tronic now?), carbon buildup, and a little bit on thermostat, water pump, and PCV valves. But nothing on the newest revision, which seems to be a pretty significant update.

2 rooterroo • 3 yr. ago Thinking of doing this. Had a change 6 months ago by Audi, too much oil warning came on last week. Took it in Audi service fixed it and asked me if I added oil to it. Told them they were the last to open the engine hood. Scared what they are missing or not doing when and if I take my car in for service. Ugggh 1

S4 (B9 Platform) Discussion - B9 S4 Reliability - My 2017 6MT A4 is coming on lease end. Stopped into dealer and they have a 2019 P+ S4 they are looking to move and lease numbers are very inviting. My A4 has $40K miles and only 1 issue which was the coolant leak (not too uncommon) otherwise car has been perfect. Still.

Our calibration team headed to the drag strip today for a round of track testing on our upcoming TTE710 hybrid turbo ECU tune for the B9 S4, S5, and SQ5.
