ahahaha cloak of mirroring + ring of free action + berserker rage > beholders. there was no functionality change in the cloak between SoA and ToB, just the reflection animation changed to the deflection animation. By deleting the clck26.itm file in the override folder it will return to it's original animation. Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.

I am looking at it right now and it give Protection from Spell Type (opcode 205) with a secondary type of "offensive damage", as well as immunity to Call Lightning, Glyph of Warding, Holy Smite, Unholy Blight, Skull Trap, Cloudkill, Blade Barrier, Death Fog, Fire Storm, Globe of Blades, Delayed Blast Fireball, Incendiary Cloud, Meteor Swarm.

Grab the Shield of Balduran, which does what the OG Cloak used to and doesn't just absorb their rays, it reflects their rays back at them . Again unless you have SCS where they use telekinesis to rip it out of your hands. For that you kinda want to just bring aaaaall your buff spells, tack on Spell Immunity: Abjuration, and nuke the fuck out of.

The Cloak of Mirroring could deflect it if the targeted member has that equipped. If Mazzy is detected by the Shade Lord, she will be the target of a Symbol, Stun spell. If any spell casting class (mage, priest, bard or druid and sub classes) are detected, then a Silence, 15' Radius will be cast.

Using BG2Tweaks, what you want isn't possible. Without BG2Tweaks, you could add a disable visuals effect to the cloak (killing all automatic SPMAGGLO and SPSTURNI for that character only) and then modifying Spell Trap to run SPMAGGLO separately (although, it will lead to two copies of the animation playing over characters not wearing the cloak).

As she is wearing the Cloak of Mirroring, most single-target and some area of effect offensive damage type spells will deflect harmlessly from her. Take note of her scripted use spells in the InfoBox. All of those listed can be attempted as the battle transpires. She will attempt to heal herself if damaged to a preset threshold.

What I'd ultimately like to see is the 1PP Spell Trap animation for everything except the Cloak of Mirroring (which would have no animation at all.
