#1 · Dec 7, 2010 I have been looking for a Marlin in 45-70 for a while and I came accross a 444 Marlin. I don't know anything about 444 Marlin other than being told it's a "hot-rod" 44 magnum. Is there any advantage to go with 444 instead of 45-70? What ever caliber I choose I will be reloading for it.
