Ron Hicks was born in Columbus, Ohio. Encouraged by his mother who was also an artist, Ron always knew he wanted to be an artist. Ron received a scholarship to study art at Columbus College of Art and Design - known to be one of the best Art schools in the country - where he majored in Fine Art and minored in Illustration.
