Here, we're taking an in-depth look at the customized 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner in 2001's The Fast and The Furious movie. Of course, the car didn't roll out of the factory looking like that. The customization was the handiwork of Diamond-Star Motors, a Mitsubishi/Chrysler automobile manufacturing joint-venture.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse was launched back in 1989 as a sports compact car. It was developed and sold during Mitsubishi's joint venture with Chrysler Corporation, and it was called Diamond-Star Motors. Both the first and the second generation models of the Eclipse were also baked on Chrysler's D Platform while the last two generations saw a new platform.
