#1 For the first time in about 6 months of ownership, I put my Outerbanks into Sport mode, which defaults to 4A on GOAT selector. What I have noticed upon maneuvering at slow speeds on turns in the parking lot, vibration/shaking of the steering wheel and the vehicle and driving hesitation of sorts. None of this is present going in straight line.

Jul 28, 2022 Thread starter #1 I've done quite a bit of off road driving, including the 100 mile White Rim Trail out of Moab, and the Tower Arch trail in Arches NP. I've also driven to the top of a number of mountain peaks in southwest Idaho. I have yet to find a case where I felt that using 4H would be an improvement over using 4A.

Your Bronco Model Outer Banks Oct 11, 2021 Thread starter #1 Hi Guys and Gals. I'm after some advice. when ordering my Broco, the dealer made it seem the that optional 4A mode was more for heavy duty off roading and that i wouldn't really need it everyday driving.

I notice that my steering feels like it pulls under acceleration leading me to think that 4A activates 4wd under acceleration. anyone know if this is true? #1 From my understanding if the Bronco is in 4A, if a wheel is slipping it will engage the 4WD but if nothing is slipping it should remain in 2WD . In 2H it will only be in 2 wheel no matter what. Is that correct? I lifted my Bronco and when in 2H everything is fine, but when I click 4A and under slight acceleration I have a drive line vibration.
