Disagree, the subaru 3.0 and 3.6 are more reliable then any of the 2.0 or 2.5s! In most cases, rust or a collision takes the H6 cars long before other issues do. My daily/work H6 is right at 275K miles and I still work it regularly pulling a 5x10 trailer hauling engines, appliances, etc.

The XT Outback seems to be the same power plant as the Forester's with the same problems. I wish that the torque was higher on the 3.0 H6 and that it cranked out a few more hp for a 6 cylinder though. It does seem with a few very limited bolt on's that the power can increase a little bit. The raptor headers are boosting HP and TQ up about 25-30.
