5.7 Hemi. Back in the mid 90's, I used a Jasper SBC 350 as a starting point for the engine build for the truck I had at the time. At that time, they offered a mild "performance" option. I was able to spec the internals, bore, and heads. Local machine shop was way over priced, and it was cheaper to use Jasper rather than having my block machined.

No it was a 5.7 hemi for a 2010 Ram 1500. Both engines dropped a valve and went kaboom. The owner wasn't happy but Jasper handled it really well and the third engine installed now has ~75,000 miles on it and has had no issues. The labor was paid for each time and the work was completed in a timely fashion.
