Thanks to massive wheelwell openings and highline fender flares, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon can easily run a 35-inch-tall tire without a lift. We thoroughly tested this with a 35x11.50R17 Nitto Trail Grappler (which you can watch here ).

While a 12.50-inch-wide tire is more common in a 35, we wanted to retain the stock 17x7.5 wheels. Doing so would mean we would need to stick with a tire a touch narrower than usual as most tire manufacturers recommend having an 8-8.5-inch wide wheel at a minimum for a 12.50.

So I'm considering on running a ready lift SST 2.5 spacer kit with 35's. I've been trying to find some folk on here who are running the same set up. Most are running 37's in the Rubicon. Those who are running 35's own a Gladiator Sport. From my understanding the Rubicon has higher fenders.
