Two differences that irked me when I bought my GTO were: 1) Jap cars are speed limited to 180km/hr - I purchased an Apexi RSM that fools the speed limiter though so that is no prob. 2) The Jap cruise control is limited to 115km/hr - now this is really annoying as I have a Gen 1 and the speedo is like.

From what I understand some Euro models came stock with 13g turbos while the rest of us are stuck with lowly 9b's stock. Any other difference will be between the years and are the same no matter the designation, Euro, or US. 91- 93's come with a five speed and are rated at 300 hp while 94 - 99 come with a 6 speed and are rated at 320 hp.
