I do not recommend changing the oil sooner than completion of recommended break-in period. I do believe the factory fill contains at least one additive (IMO, XL-17) to assist with seating the parts. Getting ready to do the first oil change on a 2021 5.0 GT. I have 10 quarts of Motorcraft 5w-20 full synthetic. Ford recommends 5W-30 synthetic blend. The car is never driven in cold weather. If I go with the 5W-20 full synthetic I will stay with full synthetic. Any thoughts?
