Fitted with a tricycle undercarriage, the SB-2 made its maiden flight on May 30, 1944. The P-2 was later developed into the P-3, which the Swiss Air Force used as a trainer until 1983. 202. This Pilatus was delivered to the Flugwaffe with serial U-115 on 18 April 1950. It was modified in 1962 and was reserrialed to U-144. The robust looking aircraft was withdrawn from use on 30 May 1981 and stored Dubendorf. It was sold in September 1981 and registered HB-RAM at Birrfeld airport.
