Performance Teslas from 2026-2021 generally have factory-fitted red caliper brakes, while the base versions do not. However, from 2022, the Tesla Model X Plaid does not have red caliper brakes. Some Teslas also have red brakes through after-market painting or the addition of red caliper covers.
