05-12-2011, 08:23 PM. I bought a Twister engine stand from Kenny @ K&S Steel Products. These stands are rated at 3000 lbs and a 60:1 gearbox that turns the engine with ease. He makes adapters for John Deere, IH and 5.9 Cummins engines. We have 3 of them in our shop and are a well built stand.

Does anybody know what size the mounting C channel is on the Twister engine stands? Either the grey part of the black parts measurement would work. It's not in the budget to purchase a Twister, but I like the way they mount and I might as well build my stand to fit their adapters.
