#1 · Mar 31, 2021 I don't know if my fuel gauge is lying or not. When I fill up gas to full it register full but when I consume half the tank it will register half or 3/4. It gets the level of the tank from the resistance readout of a sensor. The lower the volume of the tank, the higher the resistance. There is a TSB about a faulty gauge.
